The heat-resistant conveyor belt mainly conveys high-temperature materials such as sintering, hot coke, cement clinker, and hot castings. Ester canvas or cotton canvas as strength layer. It has the characteristics of light belt body, long service life and good heat resistance. A heat-resistant glass cloth can be added between the cover glue and the skeleton layer to improve the heat-resistant service life.

A few tricks of improving the working efficiency of heat-resistant conveyor belts:

1. The relationship between the diameter of the transmission roller of the conveyor belt and the cloth layer of the conveyor belt, the matching of the transmission roller and the reversing roller, and the requirements for the groove angle of the idler should be reasonably selected according to the design regulations of the conveyor.

2. The feeding direction should follow the running direction of the conveyor belt. In order to reduce the impact on the conveyor belt when the material falls, a chute should be used to reduce the material drop distance; in the receiving section of the conveyor belt, the distance between idlers should be shortened and buffer idlers should be used. In order to avoid material leakage, the conveyor belt should adopt a soft and moderate baffle plate to prevent the baffle plate from being too hard and scratching the belt surface of the conveyor belt.

3. Prevent conveyor belt load from starting. Keep the conveyed material evenly distributed according to the bandwidth, not too concentrated. Belts with hot material, once stopped, measures should be taken to unload the hot material

4.During transportation and storage, the conveyor belt should be kept clean, avoid direct sunlight or rain and snow, prevent contact with acids, alkalis, oils, organic solvents and other substances, and keep a distance of one meter from the heating device, so as not to reduce the strength index and aging. 

5. The conveyor belt deviates, and measures should be taken to correct it in time.

6. Conveyor belts of different types and specifications should not be used together, and the joints are preferably glued.

7. The type, structure, specification and number of layers of the conveyor belt should be reasonably selected according to the conditions of use.

8. The running speed of the conveyor belt should not generally be greater than 2.5m/s, and the materials with large lumps and high abrasion and the unloading device using fixed pears should use low speed as much as possible.

9. When placing the conveyor belt, do not use the edge of the conveyor belt as a supporting surface, but use the middle paper tube to hang the flat belt on a pipe or similar device and place it in rolls to avoid edge wear.

10. The conveyor belt should be stored in a warehouse with specified standards (temperature 18-40°C, relative humidity 50-80%). During use, the surface temperature of the entire strip should be continuously and uninterruptedly measured, recorded and monitored, and unnecessary temperature increases must be avoided.

11. When the conveyor is in use, if the idler is missing, it should be added and repaired in time; the idler is covered by the material, causing the rotation to fail, to prevent the leakage of the material from being stuck between the roller and the belt, pay attention to the lubrication of the moving part of the conveyor belt, But do not oil the conveyor belt.

12. Prevent the conveyor belt from being blocked by the frame, pillars or block materials, and prevent it from being broken and torn. When the conveyor belt is found to be partially damaged, it should be repaired in time with rayon to avoid expansion.

13. Whether it is a lack of regular maintenance or excessive maintenance, a surface coating loses its characteristics. Therefore, it should be checked every 2 to 3 weeks. Note that the belt surface should be soft, oily and matt.
