For more than 20 years, generations of Orientflex’s engineers have contributed to the design and application of steel cord conveyor belts. This accumulated experience translates into state-of-the-art technology that ensures superior product design and optimal conveying performance for customers.
All Orientflex steel cord conveyor belts can be cut and spliced according to your specifications, offer excellent impact resistance and are available in a variety of quantities and sizes to meet the working tensions and application requirements of different application scenarios; overlay compounds are also specifically designed to meet specific application needs and are available in a variety of rubber types and thicknesses that protect your conveyor belt from fire, oil, abrasion and heat, providing maximum protection for the wire rope core; a special glue is designed specifically to encapsulate each wire rope core to reduce internal friction while enhancing adhesion to the covering rubber.
From this it is not difficult to see: Each component of the steel cord conveyor belt is important for performance.
GALVANIZED STEEL WIRE ROPE CORE
Orientflex has carefully chosen the core construction in its design to provide the most suitable size for a specific application. A core composed of many steel wires provides high flexibility and low elongation and supports efficient, high-strength joint designs. Coating creates the bond between the rope core and the insulating glue and provides an important corrosion barrier.
INSULATION GLUE (CORE GLUE)
Orientflex’s broad range of rubber formulation technologies has enabled engineers to develop an excellent adhesive rubber that penetrates and adheres to the wire rope core, resulting in excellent adhesion, corrosion resistance and splice efficiency.
COVER PLASTIC TEAR RESISTANT STEEL MESH
Orientflex localized puncture resistance under heavy loads, preventing premature core failure.
BOTTOM COVER RUBBER TEAR RESISTANT STEEL MESH
Orientflex localized puncture resistance to trapped material, preventing premature core failure.
Orientflex top and bottom cover compounds are formulated with an advanced compound designed to protect the steel cord reinforcement from possible damage and damage during harsh environmental operation. These overlays can withstand high friction, cutting and scratching of jagged objects, high impact forces, sub-zero temperatures, moderately high temperatures, as well as hardening effects and flame propagation from ozone attack.
With Orientflex, not only are you assured of high quality rubber products, we also hold 12-month warranty on all conveyor belts to minimize downtime for you.
