THE STRUCTURE OF THE CONVEYING ROLLER
The basic structure of the conveying roller is simple. It consists of rollers placed parallel and anchored perpendicular to the structure. This structure serves as guidance and support for the entire system.

ROLLER KEY PARTS
The axis of rotation on which the rotation occurs. It is installed inside the drum and fixed to the structure.
Bearing placement head located at the end of the shaft. This is what allows the anchoring of mechanization and rotation. It exerts traction on the head.
An outer cylinder around the central axis. This is the surface where the material will move. It allows many different options in terms of finish to suit the type of material to be moved (galvanized, galvanized, painted, construction with handles, etc.).
Electric System: This is an optional system designed to automate the movement of roller conveyors. It can well control the flow of goods and optimize the time.

TECHNICAL ASPECTS OF CONVEYOR ROLLERS
The specific technical requirements of the rolling tube
Good surface quality: The outer surface is smooth without deformation or marks. In many cases the tubes are electro-galvanized requiring a cold rolled steel surface finish, typically 0.7 μm
Internal Weld Seam: The height of the weld seam is defined according to the customer’s specifications and is designed to achieve a perfect fit to the head system. Typical values are between 0 and 0.3 mm
Ovality: very important parameter, designed to achieve uniform rotation without “jumping” the rollers, allowing smooth movement of the load
Straightness: As with the previous concept, the straightness of the tube is an important aspect to achieve smooth and even rotation
Outer Diameter: High outer dimensional accuracy and tight tolerances limit tube ovality
Inner Diameter: Internal dimensional accuracy with tight tolerances to properly contain the head
In many cases, the steel pipes used to make the rolls are coated with zinc, which protects them from corrosion and wear. This process is called electrogalvanizing.
Electrogalvanizing: A thin layer of zinc is applied, using an electric current to cover the tube. As a thinner layer than the galvanizing process, it gives the material a smoother and more uniform aesthetic appearance
